A new kind of Pitch Event...

Cooperative Performance is changing things up!

For many of us, this past and current year have felt like we are existing in a vacuum. Connection can be challenging enough in non-pandemic times, and our collective experiences have only magnified this.

  • Do you have an idea that has been simmering but you're not sure what to do with it?

  • Ideas that don't fit traditional theatre models?

  • Are you interested in meeting with other artists for new connections and potential collaboration?

  • Do you have an idea that you're ready to expand into a workshop or performance?

Starting with our 2021 Annual Meeting, we are holding open meetings every four months with both members and non-members to share ideas!

These events are open to the general public!
(A donation is kindly suggested for non-members in attendance.)

Health & Safety

While we had hoped to meet in person for this event, we are aware of the marked increase in COVID transmission currently occurring in Milwaukee. We've made the decision to move this month's Pitch & Play to a virtual event via Google Meet. We hope/plan to return to Le Rich & Pour in Shorewood for our May event. In the meantime, stay safe and we hope to see you virtually!

May 2022 - TBA
Submission deadline: April 15, 2022

September 2022 - TBA
Submission deadline:
August 15th, 2022

Pitch an idea that you feel is ready to expand to its next level (workshop, script, performance…) and have it considered to be a project that the Cooperative helps bring to fruition. To pitch, you must be a member in good standing and submit a proposal in advance by the deadline.

A loose, casual format; talk and test out ideas with other artists and arts enthusiasts. All are welcome to participate and "play"! Just bring your ideas and your collaborative spirit.

Be the first to see or hear snippets of projects being developed and find out what’s coming up for the Cooperative, learn about opportunities, and more.

Still have questions? Trying to send additional materials for a proposal? Email us at pitch@cooperativeperformance.org.
